Whether you are a freelancer wanting online presence, an artist showcasing a portfolio, or a small business opening an online shop - I can help you bring your ideas to life and design a top quality website you will be proud of. You can expect personal reliable service, and beautiful responsive design that would work as well on your smartphone or tablet as it would on a PC.

WHY HAVE A WEBSITE?

In today’s competitive and computerised world, eye catching online presence is a must for any freelancer or business. When seeking to hire your services, your website is the first thing that people would check. And when they do, you want it to leave an impression.

What I offer

I build websites that are inviting, clear, easy to navigate and look stunning. I put the accent on simplicity, elegance and functionality.

top design platforms

For the websites I design I favour the Squarespace platform. It is one of the most elegant and respected website builders around and you can be sure of reliable functionality, excellent support, and top notch responsive design. I also work on Wix which has a large variety of templates and options.

How does it work?

While each project is unique, there are certain stages that would normally take place during the process of building your site.

  • Initial meeting: We will start with exploring your requirements and options, we will discuss the branding, design, feel, target market, your objectives and the ways to achieve them etc. We will also discuss your domain, whether you need to chose a new one or use an existing domain you already own.
  • Following the meeting I will send you a proposal with a price quote.
  • We will discuss the general structure for your website, and I will need from you the text for the different pages and the images you’d like me to use (I could also make suggestions for images and work with you on the text).
  • I will put it all together and submit an initial version for your consideration.
  • We will discuss any changes necessary via email, or face to face meeting if necessary.
  • When the website is ready to go live and to your satisfaction we will have a final meeting in which I will transfer the website to you, show you (or a person of your choice) how it all works, how you can edit or change things, and I’ll provide detailed written guide for log-in/edit/update. We will go through the hosting subscription and once everything is ready activate the website to take it online.
  • Although the account will be set in your name I can remain listed as a contributor in case future work on the site is needed.

What I will need from you

  • Before our initial meeting I will ask you to send me a brief note about what you are looking for and what you want to achieve, together with some examples of websites you like.
  • If you don't already have a domain name (the stuff that comes after the 'www.') you will need to choose one. In some cases the domain registration price is included in the hosting package.
  • I will need the text and images and any other information you'd like to feature on the website.
  • Before the site can go live you will need to subscribe to the hosting package of your choice which would include setting up a subscription with the hosting company (I will guide you through it if needed).
